Character-driven fiction is what I look for, then a amazing story, and if possible, but not a must, amazing prose. As I search typically with this author, none of the characters if very likeable, but then I don't think that is the author's priority. This story will make you laugh, want to cry, feel angry, and most of all permeate your daily life, so much so that you will be thinking about it during the course of your day. Now, this brilliantly talented writer returns with I Know This Much Is True, a heartbreaking and poignant multigenerational saga of the reproductive bonds of destruction and the powerful force of forgiveness.
